Fallujah, gITAr's outspoken response to the war on terrorism has been a work in progress since 2008. It started as a live performance and slowly morphed into a fully edited audio collage at the beginning of 2010. Fallujah is the attempt to understand atrocity and terror from a distance and the phantoms that plague our everyday lives. It remembers the crowded, open air markets crumbling under the weight of bomb blasts, the fear that mother's had for their children, the fear and misunderstandings of the soldier, the attempt to ignore, justify, fight back and cry. This album is empathetic, but claims to only attempt to understand, and to attempt to engage others in this understanding...this rebuilding. It is a match lit in a dark room in hopes that we all might see, for a moment.

Film Candy 2010

Film Candy is the sequel to I Cut People's album, "The Inside Story". Many movies were sampled to create this non-stop, action-packed fun-filled album that is guaranteed to make you laugh. Film Candy is an edited improv from 2010. gITAr performed it live at an event at Annie's Social Club in San Francisco in 2008. Be sure to check out the art by clicking on the album cover image.

Psychedelic Pigeon Pop 2010

Psychedelic Pigeon Pop is another gITAr edited improv created in 2010. The album touches on a lot of topics including: the pumpkin man, the economy, nursery rhymes, pork chops and apple sauce, little boys who think they're pigeons, toulan blood, blow dryers, and more. Psychedelic Pigeon Pop was recorded in February of 2010. It was edited by ellipse elkshow and i cut people in March 2010.

Pontiac Blueboy 2007

Pontiac Blueboy is one of our favorite edited improv albums. Created in Berkeley, California in march of 2007, this improv revolves around a dragnet episode focusing on the LSD craze in 1967. The episode was obviously a way to scare kids from "expanding their minds" while using all sorts of propaganda/fear tactics to achieve their goal. the album is around 20 minutes and has a total of 8 tracks. It also comes with a hilarious art booklet with actual pictures of DEA officers doing what they do best...eating acid and selling it to the public.

The Nothing Socket 2007

Nothing Socket was a live set by gITAr performed during the year 2007. These particular tracks were recordings of live performances, later edited by Ellipse Elkshow. A few of the cut-ups were originally on I Cut People's Dumb Downers and self-titled albums. Also, Many samples used were originally on Elkshow's Personal Programming and NABS Agendas.

His Name is Nibbles 2007

"His Name is Nibbles" is an album dedicated to the 2500 lb elephant seal named Nibbles who is "menacing" the Sonoma County coastline. This album attaches Nibbles to Beverly Hills 90210 and the recent attacks by Al Qaeda in Iraq. Add some ALF and you get, "His Name is Nibbles." What does Nibbles have to do with 90210, ALF and Iraq?
